Whereas we the members and guests of the 78th General Synod of the Bible Presbyterian Church, meeting July 31 – August 5 in Olympia, Washington, have been the recipients of delicious meals, ideal fellowship, and overall gracious northwestern hospitality, and

Whereas we have witnessed an evident outpouring of Christian love through the hearts of the members of the Bible Presbyterian Church of Olympia in preparation for this synod, and their desire to please and serve the Lord Jesus Christ,

Be it resolved therefore that we, the members of the 78th General Synod of the Bible Presbyterian Church, do express our sincere thanks and heartfelt appreciation to the pastor and his family, the session, and all the church membership for all that they have done for us and continue to do for the cause of Christ.

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: (Philippians 1:3–6)
