Ron Dudley served as an elder of Suncoast Bible Presbyterian Church in Palm Harbor, Florida for ten years. He was a faithful officer, a prayer warrior, and in church every time the doors were open. His desire was to see the church prosper in the things of the Lord. Ron was born on October 24, 1934 in Whitinsville, MA and entered the presence of His Lord and Savior on December 7, 2018.

Ron and Connie started attending Suncoast Bible Presbyterian Church in the mid-1990’s were and he was a dear friend and supporter of Rev. Morris McDonald when he took the pastoral charge in July 2000. Ron came to know the Lord as an adult businessman. It was Ron and Connie’s ministry to travel to Eastern Europe on several occasions to distribute Bibles, New Testaments and gospel literature; then later several trips to the Holy Land. It was their joy to see people come to a saving trust in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Ron was active with Gideons International.

Ron began his sales career with Sears Roebuck, selling shoes. In time he managed stores for Woolworth and Ben Franklin, then back into sales for the Dickies Work Apparel Company.

Following a brief time of retirement, he opened a health food store in Port Richey, FL, followed by a second store, also in Pasco County. He and his wife had a house built near Bonners Ferry, ID, enabling them to attend Providence Bible Presbyterian Church, in Bonners Ferry, pastored by Dr. Len Pine.

Ron and Connie had six children. His wife, Connie, pre-deceased him. He remarried in September 2018. Jan is a faithful member of Suncoast Bible Presbyterian Church. Every church of the Florida Presbytery was represented by its pastor at the Dudley Memorial.
